“Summer” Surprise…

Posted by Texas Mustang Project on July 21, 2010

Last Sunday Mike Holmes got a surprise when he went out to feed, water and care for the horses that Lifesavers had rescued from the Fallon Livestock Sale.ย  It was a still wet hours old foal.

When the foal’s dam would not have anything to do with her, volunteers responded and took in little “Summer.”

A more complete story with several more pictures can be viewed here: http://www.whmentors.org/men/summer01.html

Wonderful. Seems like the foal has not even opened his eyes yet. Does it take a long time before they can see?
